St. Basil Preschool is a nonprofit outreach ministry of St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church serving children of all races, ethnicities, abilities, and religious backgrounds from ages two through five years. Our developmental program has been designed to meet the needs of the whole child. Active learning opportunities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth fill each day.
St. Basil Preschool strives to provide a bridge of support to the entire family. The success of our program is dependent on our efforts to link home and school through clear communications. We take our commitment to our families seriously by providing opportunities for on going daily exchanges with the teaching staff and administration and weekly classroom updates via the ClassDojo app.
St. Basil Preschool offers full day sessions, Monday through Friday. Schedules are designed to accommodate working parents as well as parents in search of a part time enrichment program.
St. Basil Preschool operates year-round except for legal and seasonal holidays. Our operating hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum
Each classroom’s daily activities are full of age appropriate activities and are created to challenge and stimulate growth in each child at their particular developmental level.
Play is the Best Form of Research
Children learn through play and interaction. Each day children are given freedom to explore their environment and encouraged to engage in “hands-on” play and activities.
Nurturing Strong Relationships
St. Basil Preschool strives to build and maintain strong social bonds between children, children and staff, and especially with families.
We are now preparing for our next Open House on February 5, 2026 at 5:30PM. We hope you will join us to tour, meet our teachers and learn more about our school. We still have a few openings for the current school year and would love to get you registered for the 2026/2027 school year. Children must be the age of the class they wish to enroll in by September of that year. For example, if you wish to enroll your child in the 3’s class, they must already be 3 by September 1st.
